Article 6.4 progress: The first CDM transition to PACM

  • At its first meeting in 2025, the Article 6.4 Supervisory Body made key decisions on registries, methodology guidance, and the transition from CDM to PACM. 

  • A Programme of Activities (PoA) for cookstoves distribution was the first PoA or project approved to transition from the CDM to PACM, an important milestone in the operationalisation of PACM.

  • BeZero has rated 33 projects in the CDM, with ratings ranging from ‘A’ to ‘C’, demonstrating the variation in carbon performance that we expect will continue in the PACM.
