Dr Nick Atkinson is a conservation scientist whose work has crossed academic, government, NGO and corporate sectors. He has specialist knowledge in the role of trees in carbon and is an experienced communicator in both popular and scientific channels.
Nick was involved in the development of the Woodland Carbon Code, the UK's protocol for woodland creation carbon sequestration projects. He is also the Technical Author of the BSI standard for carbon claims by nature-based projects.
