Luca Minello has developed broad expertise in new technologies and data engineering across diverse industries. His interests range from developing efficient cloud-based solutions, automating complex data pipelines, and machine learning methods applied to different fields. His dissertation research focused on optimising sample collection across large geographical areas for training datasets.
Before joining BeZero, he worked in several industries, holding different roles such as data engineer for a FTSE 250 and geospatial data engineer for a start-up sponsored by ESA.
2013, Definition of effective training sets for supervised classification of remote sensing images by a novel cost-sensitive active learning method
2013, An effective strategy to reduce the labeling cost in the definition of training sets by active learning
2012, A cost-sensitive active learning technique for the definition of effective training sets for supervised classifiers
