Laurent Chan is a Carbon Ratings Analyst with an interdisciplinary background in environmental management, specializing in climate policy and geological carbon storage. His MSc dissertation examined CO2 transport constraints for CCS deployment at dispersed industrial sites in the UK, and its implications on residual emissions and a just transition.

Prior to joining BeZero, he was a Research Assistant at Oxford Net Zero for the University of Oxford, where he explored the potential of onshore geological carbon storage in the UK for the purpose of engineered CDR and CCS at geographically isolated and dispersed industrial sites.
