Dr Tom Baribault is a forest ecologist with experience in growth and yield modelling, forest inventory, and remote sensing. His current work focuses on the ecological and economic impacts of wildfire, using growth models and spatial analysis to support forest management decisions and reforestation.
Before joining BeZero, he worked as a Researcher in tropical forest restoration and plantation forestry, then as a Consulting Forester specializing in sustained yield forestry of primarily western North American forests. Most recently, he was Carbon Program Manager at Mast Reforestation, developing post-wildfire carbon projects.
