The author of over 70 research papers, Dr David Morley is a geographer and spatial ecologist with a strong background in research, geostatistics, data science and reconstructing past climate variability from ecological indicators. He is particularly interested in GIS, remote sensing and geostatistical applications to environmental analysis.
Before joining BeZero, he worked at TomTom as a Data Scientist specialising in machine learning for map production. He has conducted research at Imperial College London’s faculty of Medicine and the University of Oxford’s Department of Zoology in species distribution modelling and predictive disease mapping. He has also worked as a consultant ecologist for the UK Environment Agency and a statistical advisor for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
