At BeZero Carbon, Dhruti Chakravarthi works on developer engagement, leveraging her background in sustainable development and social anthropology to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the voluntary carbon market. Her expertise lies in environmental governance and infrastructure, shaped by her research at the University of Edinburgh on how water-related infrastructures influence state-led social engineering. She brings an interdisciplinary approach to her work, bridging policy, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement.

Before joining BeZero Carbon, Dhruti worked at the Asia-Europe Foundation, supporting sustainable development initiatives across 51 countries—ranging from policy engagement at the ASEM Foreign Ministers’ Meeting to managing a bi-regional partner database. She also co-founded a social enterprise focused on strengthening Bangalore’s artisan communities through sustainability-driven initiatives. In addition, she holds an ESG specialisation from the Corporate Finance Institute and has spoken at platforms like The Economist Foundation and TEDx.
