Webinar - The state of forest dMRV: data, ratings and oversight
- Dr Phil PlattsSVP, Geospatial and Earth Observation

- Ratings
The latest generation of forestry methodologies increasingly require remote sensing data to facilitate baseline construction and project monitoring, which means the choice of methodology and data provider carries more weight than ever.
BeZero, Chloris Geospatial, Planet Labs and Permian Global came together for a moderated discussion on the state of the art in forest dMRV: how satellite-derived biomass data actually works, its current limitations and potential, and its place in the market.
The discussion provided a clearer framework for evaluating MRV data and ratings on their own terms, whether for project development, due diligence, or portfolio risk assessment.
Speakers:
Dr Alessandro Baccini, Co-Founder, Co-CEO & Chief Science Officer, Chloris Geospatial
