Dr Tara Van Belleghem is a marine conservation biologist dedicated to bridging the gap between science, policy, and industry for environmental protection. Her PhD research focused on protecting marine ecosystems from port-related threats by integrating risk assessment into conservation planning, using dolphins and turtles as indicator species.

Before joining BeZero, she was working as a Post Doctoral Researcher looking at land tenure issues in Brazil.
