Dr Jaco Olivier is an ecologist, who's primary experience is in biological science and forestry, with a particular focus on plant ecology, ecosystems, carbon and biodiversity credits. His PhD focused on gaining a better understanding of how different landscapes and habitats impact giraffe ecology and behaviour in Zimbabwe.
Before joining BeZero, he was an NBS Technical Specialist at South Pole, focusing on the development and management of carbon offsetting projects, specifically ARR, REDD+ and IFM, across the Africa region.
